Sometimes, yes. If your provider determines that the treatment is appropriate, your health history is complete, and there is enough time on the schedule, you may be able to begin the same day. Some treatments require planning, preparation, or a separate appointment.
Downtime depends on the service, but in most cases it is 24 to 72 hours. Injectables may involve mild swelling or bruising. Peels, microneedling, RF microneedling, and laser treatments can involve redness, flaking, or sensitivity. Your provider will explain expected downtime before you commit.
